About the role
We are looking for experienced Female Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team to work across our houses in Port Kennedy and Baldivis area. The successful applicants will provide practical assistance to a person/s with complex needs and behaviours to help them achieve their personal goals and manage everyday tasks.
Our new team members must be both adaptable and flexible and have demonstrated experience working with people with challenging behaviours.
You must have experience delivering 1:1 disability supportand ideally have worked with various disabilitiesincluding;physical intellectualand psycho-social disabilities.
Shifts typically range from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for day shifts and usually from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM for afternoon and sleepover shifts. There will also be 4 hour shifts available during the day.
You must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week including a mix of day shifts night shifts and addition you must be available to cover shifts at short notice when required.
Once you are part of the casual pool you will be prioritised for permanent lines as they become available.
