Job Summary

Position Title: SAP Finance Architect

DIRECT HIRE

Greenville NC (remote but must be located within a 3 hour radius of Greenville for occasional onsite)

US Citizens GC Perm Resident (no sponsorship available)

Job Purpose:

The Solution Architect will be part of a Global SAP Project working with all business units. The candidate must have an understanding of the business processes related to SAP ECC 6.0 Finance Controlling & Treasury. The individual will offer their knowledge and expertise regarding the SAP system to the team to ensure best business practices are defined in meeting the business requirements. This position will assist the team with analysis design evaluation configuration testing and implementation of the system primarily in the FI CO & TR functional areas with integration of MM SDPMPS and PP functional areas.

Job Content and Duties:

Participate in and conduct Business Design sessions ensuring global business needs are incorporated into sessions

Process re-engineering exercises to conform to business best practices

Prepare business design documentation of processes workflows and procedures

Resolve business issues resulting from designs session

Prepare functional specifications for development objects

Prepare software configuration recommendations/requirements for assigned business processes

Ensure multi-country requirements are properly defined to support localization and statutory requirements.

Communicate regularly with Senior Manager SAP Finance and Project Management to ensure configuration is designed to meet the requirements and scope of the project

Gain understanding of environment infrastructure and opportunities to ensure designs and deliverables are within economical reach

Participate in system integrated testing to ensure software requirements have been met

Data cleansing and validation efforts for data migrations

Assist with preparation of user training materials

Ensure that Company standards and methodologies are adhered to

Provide end-user support during go-live

Assist with Production Support issues and provide secondary support as needed

Provide end user support for assigned applications

Timely status reporting to IS management

Job Competencies:

Superior documentation facilitation and relationship building skills

Experience with process mapping and business process requirements gathering

A proven consulting/functional professional with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations

Process modeling in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working in a self-directed environment

Must possess strong leadership qualities

Must possess extensive working knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices

MS Office applications: Visio PowerPoint Project Excel and Word

Handle work of a confidential nature

Good verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to present yourself well and comfortably in front of customers

Ability to work well with others

Work with teams of varying sizes

Ability to travel outside of home base country

Education and Experience Required:

4 year degree in a Business or Computer related field with at least 10 years SAP work experience in the areas of Finance Controlling & Treasury. S4 HANA implementation experience in FI/CO preferred. Working Knowledge of Accounting and Degree is a plus.
