Job Summary
Job Summary:
The Digital Automation Intern will support the development customization and maintenance of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to enhance internal business processes. This role will assist in integrating Power Platform solutions with data sources such as SharePoint Excel and Dataverse and may contribute to building dashboards and reports in Power BI. Working closely with business teams the intern will help identify automation opportunities propose technical solutions and document processes. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in a technology-related field has strong problem-solving and communication skills and is eager to learn and apply workflow automation tools within Microsoft 365.
This is a part-time non-benefited internship position with flexible hours. Currently enrolled junior senior and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications using Microsoft Power Apps to improve internal workflows.
- Automate business processes using Power Automate (flows approvals integrations).
- Assist in connecting Power Apps with data sources like SharePoint Excel and Dataverse.
- Support in building dashboards and reports using Power BI (if applicable).
- Collaborate with business teams to identify automation needs and propose technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot test and maintain existing Power Platform solutions.
- Document solutions and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science Data Science Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel SharePoint Power BI Power Automate) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Eagerness to learn and improve workflow automation.
