Description

The HR Strategic Planner serves as a key partner in driving alignment between HR initiatives and strategic objectives across Measurement Solutions (MSOL). In this high-impact role you will collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources and the MSOL HR leadership team to shape and implement a forward-looking People Strategy that supports growth transformation and organizational effectiveness. Youll work closely with senior leaders HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and cross-functional teams to lead strategic planning talent management and HR transformation efforts. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

HR Strategy & Planning

  • Lead strategic HR planning in partnership with the MSOL VP of HR and BU HR leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise business goals and long-term talent strategies.
  • Drive HR Transformation initiatives integrating strategy with execution establishing metrics to measure impact and enhancing organizational agility and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement core Emerson HR processes (e.g. Profit Review Growth Conference) ensuring HR priorities are embedded in business planning and decision-making.
  • Facilitate global HR strategy sessions and staff meetings fostering cross-regional collaboration knowledge sharing and alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR Business Partners and Senior Leadership Team members promoting accountability enabling strategic execution and strengthening HRs role as a business enabler.
  • Craft high-impact strategic communications for senior leaders by synthesizing complex data shaping messaging and influencing decisions that drive business and talent outcomes.

Talent Management

  • Lead the Organization Review process in partnership with BU and World Area leaders to assess talent readiness identify succession risks and strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Analyze and synthesize talent dataincluding demographics succession status and pipeline gapsto inform strategic workforce planning and leadership development.
  • Forecast future talent needs by evaluating long-term business trends and proactively designing initiatives to close capability and leadership gaps.
  • Lead and implement strategic HR projects ensuring timely delivery cross-functional alignment and measurable impact on business and talent outcomes.
  • Support enterprise-wide Performance Management facilitating calibration sessions to promote consistency fairness and alignment with organizational goals.

People Analytics

  • Leverage HR data and analytics to uncover trends generate insights and guide strategic decision-making across talent performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and present executive-ready dashboards and reports translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $90000 - $110000 annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
