The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Mohawk Valley is currently seeking a Concierge to join our team!

Job Title: Concierge
Position Type: Full-Time days Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm
Pay Range: $18-$20/HR

Position Overview

As the Concierge you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive service experience for our residents families and visitors. Your main responsibilities will be coordinating guest hospitality services creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining a strong relationship with staff across all departments. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service communication and teamwork and will be committed to exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Guest Services

• Greet visitors and provide tours of the facility ensuring they feel welcomed and informed.

• Welcome new admissions with a personalized greeting and welcome bag. Ensure rooms are clean and ready for the new residents arrival.

• Coordinate service-related activities to achieve customer satisfaction goals and minimize complaints.

• Conduct rounds throughout the facility to engage with residents families and visitors addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with care services.

• Follow up with department directors on any concerns raised by residents families or visitors ensuring they are addressed promptly.

Surveys & Feedback

• Administer both Entry Surveys and Exit Surveys to residents to gather feedback and improve service quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with all staff.

• Exceptional customer service interpersonal and phone skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional attitude with a willingness to accept new challenges.

Work Schedule

• Core Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Weekend Requirement: Must work one weekend per month.
