Overview
The Support Specialist will provide essential operational and research support for an Economic and Patient/Societal Impact Study. This role will focus on outreach to SBIR/STTR awardee companies and conducting economic mapping activities contributing to the successful execution of survey data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to awardee companies to encourage participation in the survey and follow-up interviews.
  • Support the administration of the survey including tracking responses documenting follow-up communications and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing economic patient and societal impact data submitted by companies.
  • Contribute to economic mapping including state-level impact assessments and compilation of company/product-level data.
  • Prepare respondent lists product and company name lists and other supporting datasets required for deliverables.
  • Provide logistical support for interim and final report preparation including compiling tables figures and de-identified survey responses.
  • Support quality control processes by reviewing data entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate closely with the Study Manager and other team members to ensure timely progress toward project deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in public health economics business policy or related field (Masters preferred).
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in research support data collection or program evaluation.
  • 1 year of experience with SBIR

Professional Skills

  • Strong communication skills and experience with professional outreach and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with survey administration and database management.
  • Familiarity with IMPLAN economic modeling and data analysis.
  • Comfort with handling large datasets in Excel or similar platforms.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89203.00 - $151646.00
