Currently seeking a dynamic Program Director to lead our Family Medicine Residency Clinic. A successful candidate will be board certified in Family Medicine and have at least 3 years of documented educational and/or administrative experiences. Recommended experience as Associate Director experience in the operation of a family medicine residency program.
The Role
The PD will focus on our 7-7-7 community-based program. Our program has been in the community for over 40 years and has a 100% board pass rate for over 13 years running. The PD will work with the CEO/Chief Medical Officer as well as clinic leadership to ensure program success and ACGME compliance in the setting of everchanging rules and regulations.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our philosophy of serving the community and supporting our academic mission. This position requires direct patient care both inpatient and outpatient resident and medical student teaching precepting and curriculum development along with administrative and scholarly activities. Administrative time is based on ACGME requirements. Night and weekend calls are required.
Special consideration will be given to candidates who bring unique experience to the team or have interest and training in academic medicine research geriatrics womens health hospitalist work integrative medicine and care for the underserved. Spanish speaking skills are also a benefit though not required.
Candidates must be Board Certified M.D. or D.O. with an active/in progress Arizona license.
