We are seeking a dedicated Class A/B Driver. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to back up trailers for filling with alternative fuel at our cement plant. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety in this highly sensitive environment which requires frequent clean-up duties outside the cab and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class A and B commercial vehicles to back up trailers for filling with alternative fuel.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
Clean up areas around trailers and fueling stations as needed.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations in an industrial environment.
Communicate effectively with plant operations team for efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and work areas.

Requirements:

Valid Class A/B commercial drivers license (CDL) with clean driving record.
Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles preferably in an industrial or construction setting. (We are willing to discuss all levels of experience).
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical duties outside of vehicle.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to work in an environment that prioritizes safety and adherence to regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role within the cement construction or industrial sector.
Familiarity with handling alternative fuels or hazardous materials.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
