About the role
As a Solution Architect you would design and implement engagement information systems and networked software architecture that support the delivery of CSCs technology ensuring their fit-for-purpose and high availability. You will drive the solution architecture including conducting impact assessments working with and aligning designs with Enterprise Architects.
Skills And Experiences
Key responsibilities
- Design fit-for-purpose solutions that align with CSCs enterprise architecture and technology strategies ensuring scalability security and performance across platforms.
- Lead solution design activities across projects by assessing business requirements evaluating technology options and documenting technical architectures.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate proposed changes or new solutions on CSCs existing systems infrastructure and operations.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure that solution designs are aligned with strategic architectural principles and long-term business goals.
- Engage with technical teams and stakeholders to gather input present solution options and gain consensus on recommended approaches.
- Maintain architecture documentation for systems integrations and processes ensuring accuracy clarity and accessibility for relevant teams.
- Support project delivery teams by providing technical guidance during implementation resolving design-related issues and reviewing technical deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with CSCs governance frameworks including security data management and project lifecycle standards in all solution designs.
What were looking for
- At least 3 years of experience as an IT infrastructure solutions architect delivering designs on complex projects across data centres networking and storage areas
- Strong technical design fundamentals with ability to envisage scope impact and communicate with stakeholders
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to consistently align to project governance requirements within CSC
- Financial services industry experience
- Federal Government industry / customer experience
- Experience and ability to manage multiple project design requests concurrently
- Background as a technical engineer / specialist in IT infrastructure
