The Ambulatory Medical Assistant or LPNworks hand- in- hand with the Physician to achieve quality outcomes for the patient. The Ambulatory LPN or MA will assist the provider of a health care site with facilitation of patient visits and procedures routine laboratory tests referrals and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. Helps cover back-office patient care and administrative responsibilities in the event of clinician illness approved time-off jury duty funeral time times of high census other growth needs determined/identified by practice management team. This position is located in the Cardiac Clinic at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital 8075 N. Shadeland Indianapolis IN.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
LPN
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience. (Required)
- Previous experience in medical office or health care setting. (Preferred)
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
Medical Assistant
- High School Diploma or GED & Graduate or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program (Required)
- Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required. Qualifying certifications/registrations: CMA (AAMA) NCMA (NCCT) RMA (AMT) CCMA (NHA) and NRCMA (NAHP)
