The Role
As the engineering lead you will be responsible for:
- Building and leading a high-performing engineering team including hiring recruiting and training.
- Scoping out timelines and milestones to ensure the engineering team delivers projects on time.
- Securing any necessary resources for the engineering team.
- Setting the technical direction and strategy for the engineering team.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Proven experience leading an engineering team that has successfully built and brought high-volume products to market.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
- Prior experience in a startup-like environment showcasing adaptability forward-thinking and the ability to build from the ground up without excessive bureaucracy.
- Preferably comes from the HVAC space (not required).

- Previously excelled in an early-stage company - you know how to navigate and be successful with limited oversight
