Were seeking a proactive hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Youll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly safely and efficientlyworking with cutting-edge machinery and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose repair and maintain mechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Support engineering solutions that improve process reliability and productivity.
- Collaborate with operations and third-party contractors to meet performance targets.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to team budgets and development plans.
What Were Looking For
- Time-served Mechanical Engineer with ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills (desirable).
- Safety-first mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
