We are looking for an energetic and proactive Front Line Leader to join our team. This role demands a critical thinker with strong business acumen to lead a team of Investigators and Inspection teammates. The individual should possess the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a diverse team of employees responsible for: 1) evaluating and ensuring that products services and processes meet customer contract requirements engineering standards company procedures and government regulations; 2)Obtaining corrective action on nonconforming hardware provided by external suppliers; negotiating concurrence obtaining commitments for taking corrective action prioritizing quality activities and ensuring problem resolution
Reviewing and validating the corrective action plan and identifying effectivity to ensure completion
Develop and implement effective business plans policies and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
Acquire and manage resources efficiently leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
Inspire develop and motivate employees cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or related experience in a regulated industry.
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role(this includes managing team assignments tracking status and developing a teams talent)
3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)
3 years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans schedules or solutions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or experience in related field
Experience in a Quality Leadership role
Experience in a factory environment (CNC Metal machining)
1 years of experience with root cause corrective analysis
1 years of experience leading SPEEA or IAM personnel
