Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate injection mold machine (automatic and semi-automatic) to produce plastics products

Overall line responsibility from production and packaging

Performs required steps of secondary operations with the use of hand tools and fixtures to process parts

Pack completed product into boxes with customized labels to ensure identification and traceability to customer requirements

Maintain clean and organized workstation

Completes daily scrap log

May grind runners and parts as required

Ensures product is produced packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications

Tracks production outputs and records quantities produced

Communicates with production operators on all shifts to ensure good pass down meetings

Performs visual and in-process inspections of parts during the manufacturing process to ensure quality

Use inspection equipment and hand tools when required

Removes finished product from molds; trims excess material from part using clippers

Responsible for following safety rules and requirements

Inspects molding machines at specific intervals and completes required documentation

Monitors molding machines for proper operation and notify production supervisor of any problems

Requirements: Basic Math Skills ability to lift up to 40#s must be able to read write and speak English
