My client a leader in information technology jobs within the telecommunications sector is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager for their Development Engineering department. Reporting to the Engineering Executive youll guide 2-3 teams of 10-20 software engineers in developing and evolving cutting-edge product suites. Responsibilities include motivating teams to deliver high-quality releases on time translating business priorities into actionable goals implementing agile practices for seamless delivery providing technical guidance on product support coaching for career growth and collaborating cross-functionally with Product Owners and stakeholders to align this IT recruitment standout youll thrive at the intersection of tech and people unblocking challenges and building processes that ensure quality in every release perfect for senior developers eyeing leadership in jobs in IT.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 12 years in software engineering including minimum 3 years in a leadership role
Strong background in software development and release processes
Proven ability to manage teams projects and budgets
Excellent communication facilitation and conflict-resolution skills
Knowledge of telecoms networks and internet technologies is a strong advantage
Attributes: Servant leader empathetic proactive customer-focused and committed to delivery
Qualification:
Computer Science (leadership/management qualifications a plus).
