Ecolab is seeking a Lead Architect in SAP Supply Chain on the Enterprise Platform Team - as a member of the SAP Enhancements & Solution Architecture team. The Lead Architect will provide the Design develop IT architecture and also provide leadership for the team. You will ensure that the standards are followed and propose solutions that are appropriate for Ecolab. You will ensure that the best practices are followed and you are a knowledge expert. Ensure that standard architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in order to support the business and IT strategy. This includes researching analyzing designing proposing and delivering IT architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and IT strategies in one or more domains. Take responsibility for technical planning architecture development and modification of specifications. Design IT Architecture and Develops specifications for new products/services applications and service offerings. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Specializations within this family include (but are not limited to): Enterprise Infrastructure Mobile Web Data Applications.
How Youll Make an Impact:
- Provide Design and Process leadership for the SAP Enhancements & Solution Architecture team.
- Designs and Develops IT architecture (integrated process applications data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
- Responsible for technical planning architecture development and modification of specifications. Develop specifications for new products/services applications and service offerings.
- Develop specifications for new products/services applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and technical teams to review requirements and design the solutions maintaining levels of customer satisfaction and confirming expectations.
- Design and develop complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain leveraging multiple business requirements and gathering methodologies to identify business functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review and refine effort estimations by analyzing business requirements for change and project requests.
- Review functional design configuration documents functional specifications test scripts and user training documentation.
- Identify risks and dependencies for delivery items at regular intervals.
- Participate in strategic discussions and presentations to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep business domain SAP technology and best practice expertise.
- Promote a collaborative work culture and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Comply with quality metrics around the standard SAP delivery process compliance.
- Pursuing upskilling and certification in SAP modules and related technology areas.
- Contribute to SAP practice with case studies knowledge assets and reuse accelerators.
- Implement Agile and DevOps methodologies as part of delivery execution.
- Drivesolutioning for client proposals and participate in bid defenses.
- Participate in achieving business project goals and objectives.
- Prepare collaterals and publications related to SAP technology.
- Mentor and provide leadership to team SMEs formally and informally to build SAP competency in the MMWM area.
- Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements.
- Develop and execute plans and organize work to ensure efficient delivery of results to meet business expectations.
- Coordinate collaboration between the Business users Lead Super Users Support teams and the Project teams.
- Provide guidance and analysis on system upgrades and technical improvements coordinating with the development and technical teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 yrs of MM/WM SAP experience
- Minimum 3 years experience as an SAP Architect
- S4 project implementation required
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM/WM/SCM 3PL TMS RF functionality
- Good SAP SCM knowledge and understanding of business process requirements and capabilities with other key SAP integrated modules MM/WM SD P2P PPQM etc.
- Experience in the implementation and ongoing business support of a Supply Chain solution.
- Experience with IDOCs API and Integrations especially SCM interfaces.
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate technology concepts to different audiences.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
- Good analytical skills results-oriented and effective in problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP TMS experience and M&A experience preferred.
- Koerber Blue Yonder Nexus Ortec systems.
- Understanding of SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience directly within a large ERP systems footprint in a global multinational environment.
- Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams.
- Proven ability to understand business needs build strategic partnerships and document and implement software solutions.
- Able to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited oversight.
