Job Description
Job Title: Third in Charge
Location: Christchurch Road Pampisford Road Purley CR8 2NL
Salary: Up to 33000 per annum
Hours:4-day and 5-day working options
Reports to:Room Leader/Nursery Manager
What Youll Be Doing
Be All In:You bring strongcommitmentto leading your room with consistency and care while also stepping up to support the wider nursery with operational and safeguarding responsibilities.
Come Together:You lead throughcollaboration working closely with your team management and other rooms to ensure a cohesive high-performing environment across the whole setting.
Be Yourself:You demonstrate confidentself-awareness recognising your role as both a practitioner and a leader supporting others with empathy and modelling reflective values-led practice.

What You Bring
Passion for Early Years Education:A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
Knowledge of EYFS:A solid understanding of child development the Birth to 5 Matters framework and the EYFS curriculum.
Qualified & Experienced:A Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare and a minimum grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Build Strong Relationships:Form bonds with children and their families ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
Team Player:Excellent communication skills the ability to give and receive feedback and a positive proactive approach.
