US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Practice Office Lead to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for collaborating with the Medical Office Operations Supervisor on new hire 90-day evaluations.
Will collaborate on the recruitment selection and training of front desk staff.
Responsible for ensuring coverage is always maintained in collaboration with Admin Supervisor
Responsible for identifying trends that impact front desk participating in problem solving and reporting back to supervisor.
As part of patient work up Team Lead is responsible for reviewing any outstanding debt or inability to pay with scheduled provider for clinical guidance.
Collect co-payment and past due balances at the time of service.
Post all payments and key billing information into the computer system; research as needed.
Responsible for managing petty cash bank deposits and posting daily batches.
Verify appointment referrals and pre-certs prior to patient arrival.
Performs other responsibilities duties or tasks as assigned by the Manager/Administrator.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years Healthcare experience
2 years of customer service experience
Working knowledge of eCW system preferred
