The City of Saint Paul is seeking an Asset Manager to help safeguard and strengthen one of the regions most vital public resourcesour drinking water system.
Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS) provides safe reliable drinking water to more than 450000 people every day through an extensive system of treatment facilities pump stations storage reservoirs and over 1100 miles of distribution mains. Maintaining and improving this system is critical to public health environmental stewardship and the long-term resilience of our community.
As a key member of the Engineering Division the Asset Manager will play a central role in shaping how SPRWS plans maintains and invests in its infrastructure. This position will drive the development of a comprehensive utility-wide asset management program guide the use of cutting-edge tools like WACS and GIS and help ensure our decisions are data-driven cost-effective and aligned with national best practices such as AWWA and ISO 55000.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Open Job Posting: This posting is open to anyone who meets the position requirements.
Eligible Lists: Eligible lists are typically created from a pass/fail assessment. Those who pass the assessment will be placed on an eligible list for approximately six months. Hiring Managers may interview/hire anyone from the list.
Final Selection Process: You must receive a score of 75% or higher to pass the assessment and be considered for the position. Those who pass will be placed on an eligible list and all will be notified of their status. A Hiring Manager will consider those applicants eligible for hire. You will be notified if you are invited to participate in the final selection process which may include an interview job simulation work sample submission or other evaluation method.
