Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor responsible for cleaning surgery rooms and areas. Cleans surgery rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment which may be between case cleaning and may conduct secondary cleaning with U/V device.I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Cleans surgery rooms and other assigned areas in insure a clean safe and attractive environment.
2. Cleans surgery rooms secondarily with U/V device as assigned
3. Completes assigned schedule of duties making efficient and effective use of work time.
4. Projects a positive service attitude while on duty responding to requests promptly and professionally.
5. Interacts with others in a cooperative manner and seeks to work harmoniously with other employees and staff.
6. Knows and safely uses equipment and chemicals and uses established procedures safely.
7. Assists with project work as assigned.
8. Projects a professional image through good personal grooming appearance positive attitude and acceptable conduct.
9. Reports and is prepared to begin work at scheduled start times with appropriate punching in and out signing in and out.

Unless certification licensure or registration is required an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
