Engineering Manager Mechanical Evaluation

We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical evaluation of control valves actuation systems and accessories. This role is responsible for strategic planning team leadership workflow coordination and continuous improvement across testing and development initiatives. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead and align initiatives with department vision and strategic drivers
• Advocate for team needs and connect resources across functions

Customer Satisfaction

• Solicit and integrate feedback from internal and external stakeholders
• Manage expectations and communicate value to leadership and customers

Continuous Improvement

• Challenge status quo and prioritize improvement projects
• Quantify impact of changes and secure investment approvals
• Enable team capacity for innovation and safety improvements

Results Delivery

• Ensure quality and efficiency in testing and reporting
• Track metrics to support strategic decisions
• Maintain resource utilization and improve performance metrics
• Promote safety

Team & Culture Development

Management & Administration

• Coordinate budget and salary planning
• Conduct performance evaluations and regular 1-on-1s
• Facilitate mentorship training and stretch assignments
• Manage hiring and onboarding

Workflow & Testing Oversight

• Develop and manage test plans and schedules (Marathon Sprint)

External Engagement

• Represent the organization in technical committees and councils

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or 8 years of technical management experience
• Minimum five years of engineering experience where a good working knowledge of engineering principles techniques and applications has been obtained.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial process control equipment which may include valves actuators piping and instrumentation.
• Ability to supervise a group of technical people and proven team leadership skills.
• Ability to work complex projects with many collaborators.
• Graduate degrees or additional coursework in Business and/or Engineering
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
