As a Lease Data Engineer you will be working in Amsterdam for our Lease department on a full-time basis. Your primary responsibilities involve integrating transforming and consolidating data from various sources making the data consumable and valuable. You will work with structured unstructured and/or streaming data systems ensuring they align with a suitable schema for building analytics solutions.
The team Youll be joining the Lease Data United Squad a dynamic and collaborative team at the heart of data reporting for the Lease department. Our mission is to turn raw data into reliable insights that drive smarter decisions across the business.
We work on a variety of impactful projectsfrom designing insightful dashboards that empower stakeholders to streamlining data flows that improve operational efficiency. These initiatives directly support INGs strategic goals by enhancing transparency compliance and customer value.

Roles and responsibilities
As a Lease Data Engineer your role extends beyond technical tasks. You will collaborate with stakeholders to help them understand the data pipelines and gather their business needs. For doing that you will:
Design and implement data storage / data marts.
Develop data processing quality checks integration and ETLs.
Secure monitor and optimize data storage and data processing.
Implement and manage Data Governance Data Lineage and Data Compliance (like GDPR)

Comfortable with one relational database (Oracle SQL) including coding maintenance and query performance observability.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g. SAS DataStage) for simple to moderately complex flows.
Comfortable using scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash) for basic data manipulation and tooling.
Able to create dashboards using one data visualization tool (PowerBI Cognos Qliksense)
Familiar with agile practices and tools (e.g. Git CI/CD pipelines). Able to troubleshoot simple errors in a pipeline.
