Job Summary:
The Labeling Artwork Lead will coordinate a team of 7 label designers ensuring the efficient and high-quality design of label and booklet proofs. This role requires strong organization skills adherence to SOPs and quality standards and proficiency in design software. The Supervisor will also be responsible for optimizing processes handling client specifications and providing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the creation of label and booklet proofs
- Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of work
- Maintain and optimize the design library database
- Provide technical support to the print shop and client service
- Assign tasks and distribute work among team members
- Review and creation of WIs and SOPs
- Conduct daily tier meetings to ensure team and project alignment
- Demonstrates and models the 4Is values Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement
- Holds staff accountable for their ongoing performance to specified standards
- Collect weekly and monthly KPIs
- Handle individual PMD (Performance Management and Development) for team members
- Recruit and train new colleagues develop training plans to suit growth and improvement efforts
- Provide handover in the managers absence
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage client relationships
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in building and leading teams
- Knowledge of SOPs and quality standards
- Experience in optimization projects
Education / Experience:
- Requires professional degree preferably in a print shop field
- Requires management education or validated experiences
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Proficiency with software (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Outlook)
