Die Setter Trainee
Location: Sterling Heights - Mound Road MI 48310
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Die Setter this role you will be responsible for assisting experienced die setters in setting up and maintaining dies used in the production of various metal parts. You will learn how to read blueprints operate machinery and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced die setters in setting up and maintaining dies
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Operate machinery such as presses grinders and lathes
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced die setters
