Job Description
Visions Staffing is assisting a Los Angeles-based company in seeking a Junior Product Designer to support the design and development of framed art wall décor photo frames and home furnishings.
This is not a systems role it is a physical product focused position.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sales Account Director & Senior Designers to determine product lines for each account.
- Actively participate in the brainstorming processes bringing customer appropriate new ideas to the development process.
- Prepare Bills of Materials to communicate detailed product specifications and builds thoroughly and effectively.
- Work with Senior Designers and be responsible for specific product development tasks as assigned.
- Manage and fill out customer product spec & set up sheets.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and market activity
Job Qualifications:
- Candidates must be capable of managing multiple projects at once with tight deadlines in an extremely fast paced work environment.
- Prior experience in picture framing interior design or home décor is a huge plus.
- Must have Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Office Programs (Word Excel MS Outlook and etc.)
