Job Summary
Job Description
The position is for 1st shift at the Main Yard Facility in Bath ME.
- Successful candidates will be expected to create a deliverable product (job package) to manufacturing. The package provided is expected to contain all necessary documentation to accomplish that work and be aligned with material needed.
- Depending on specific assignments this position could consist of varying levels of office bill of material development and/or route creation.
Required/Preferred Education/Training
- High School Diploma / GED.
- College degree in a technical business or management related field preferred.
- Graduate of BIW Manufacturing or Design Apprentice programs preferred.
Required/Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other technical documents.
- Competent usage of common PC-based systems (Microsoft Office etc.) required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Satisfactory work history (discipline/attendance).
