This position is located in our Buffalo NY office with the opportunity for hybrid work and a few days remote per week.

Role Overview:As a Customer Support Specialist youll be the frontline hero for customers. Working with internal teams customers and vendors to navigate subscriptions billing inquiries and account-related issues. Youll handle a mix of inbound requests proactive outreach and cross-functional coordination to ensure every interaction is smooth accurate and leaves the customer feeling supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer and vendor inquiries related to subscriptions billing discrepancies payment failures and account changes via email chat and phone.
  • Troubleshoot billing issues process refunds and assist with subscription upgrades downgrades and cancellations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance Product Engineering) to resolve complex issues and improve support workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM and support tools.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate feedback to improve product and service quality.
  • Educate customers on billing policies renewal cycles and available subscription options.
  • Work with partners to resolve billing inquiries or disputes

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Secondary degree preferred.
  • 13 years of experience in customer support preferably in SaaS e-commerce or subscription-based services.
  • Strong communication skills with a calm professional and empathetic tone.
  • Familiarity with billing systems (e.g. SAP) Ticketing platforms (e.g. Zendesk JIRA)
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a knack for turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Good verbal and written professional communication fluent in English.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in performing duties

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with vendors or B2B clients.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure AWS or GCP
  • Accounting Mainframe experience
  • SAP experience

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $47300.00 - $75700.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidates primary work location pay grade and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
