Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Public Safety Department is seeking student employees to assist with evening building lockups student lockout responses and general support to Public Safety operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled building lockups across campus ensuring doors and windows are secured.
Respond to student and staff lockout calls in a timely and professional manner.
Assist Public Safety staff with security-related operational support as assigned.
Document activities and incidents accurately and submit reports when required.
Provide courteous and professional assistance to community members.
Qualifications/Skills:
Student applicants must possess a valid drivers license and be eligible to become a registered OWU driver.
Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently.
