Job Summary

Construction Estimator responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects analyzing project plans and specifications and identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects including materials labor and equipment.
- Analyze project plans specifications and documents to determine estimating requirements.
- Conduct site visits to understand project scope and requirements.
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns including direct and indirect costs.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and architects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs market trends and industry developments.

Requirements:

- Experience in construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. ProEst PlanSwift).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
