Job Summary
We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join our clients team in the Asset Management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around one year of experience in risk management or asset management who is eager to develop their career in the financial industry.
In this role you will support key risk management processes including monitoring risk limits preparing risk analyses and contributing to the development of frameworks and procedures. You will gain hands-on experience with different types of risk work closely with internal teams and build a strong foundation for your future career in risk and asset management.:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the compliance of managed funds with established risk limits.
- Support the implementation of risk management processes methods and procedures.
- Prepare analyses related to market liquidity and credit risk.
- Assist in the development of the sustainability risk framework.
- Help identify assess monitor and control operational and market risks.
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree in Mathematics Economics Finance Statistics or a related field.
- Around 1 year of experience in a risk department or asset management within the financial sector.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work with data.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment responsibility and ability to work under time pressure and on several tasks simultaneously.
- Interest in the asset management industry and its business environment.
- Certificates or licenses such as CFA PRM Brokers License or Investment Advisor would be an advantage.
