Shift: Variable
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room RN to join our team. To be successful in this role you must be a quick thinker decision-maker and multitasker with a willingness to adapt to whatever the day may bring. You will provide nursing care for cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. You will be part of a collaborative team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent patient care.

What You Will Do in This Role:

Triage assess and treat patients of all ages
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized patient care plans
Develop strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
Manage multiple cases simultaneously prioritizing nursing care needs continually
Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals
Coordinate functions with physicians and other hospital departments while maintaining patient safety and focus

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year recent (within last 2-3 years) Acute Care RN experience (ED ICU PCU experience paramedic experience is a plus)
Valid Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 6 months of start date
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNCC Instructor certification within 6 months of start date
