Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team and facilitate the delivery of high-quality products through Agile practices. The Scrum Master will be responsible for coaching guiding and supporting the team to ensure Agile principles are understood and followed. This role will focus on enabling the team to self-organize fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring smooth collaboration between stakeholders Product Owners and development teams.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as a servant-leader for Agile teams facilitating ceremonies such as Sprint Planning Daily Standups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement prioritization and ensuring clarity of requirements.
  • Identify and remove impediments to the teams progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Track and report on Agile metrics (velocity burndown throughput etc.) to ensure transparency for stakeholders.
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles practices and frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with Agile best practices.
  • Collaborate across teams to manage dependencies and promote scaled Agile practices when needed.

What You Know:

  • 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach preferably in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.) and Lean principles.
  • Proven track record of successfully guiding teams in Agile transformation and delivering value.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile tools (JIRA Rally Azure DevOps or equivalent).
  • Certification(s) preferred: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in large-scale distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with product management and business analysis.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Business or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation Band:

$120K - $125K per year
