HIL Commissioning Engineer
Responsibilites:
Create I/O mapping harnesses for Breakout box ECU harnesses etc
Build HIL systems with Power supply module
Identify system boundaries and define requirements for simulator I/O instrumentation and automation solutions
Collaborates with core engineers Understands Sensors/Actuators spec design implement and troubleshoot instrumentation as required
Review component level electrical schematics and functional specifications and translate the requirements into hardware and signal requirements for virtual implementation
Validate and troubleshoots simulator and test bench
HIL Documentation preparation (IOs Signal list wiring layout MTB/LTB design etc)
Troubleshoots vehicle systems and test environment functionality to minimize false positive incident reports
Build and Simulate HIL System for open loop commissioning.
Setup HIL Integrations and ECU component loads Wiring harnesses etc (Vehicle parts PC setup etc. ) Commissioning: HILs ECU load devices- Power gnd communications FIU & RCA etc.
Conduct Test property Basic functional test check outs in CANoe Panels and perform HIL Bench Fabrication.
Complete Setup and Commissioning Coordinate with Test Automation team to run Fault Injection tests.
Integrate DSPACE system in the vehicle and HIL environments.
Develop CAN interfaces to vehicle control units.
Requirements:
10 years ands-on experience with HIL Testing.
Hands-on experience in using dSPACE HIL (Scalexio) and related Toolchains (Control/Configuration/Automation Desk) for real-time ECU validation.
Hands-on experience in using Mathworks Toolchains.
Well versed with all Automotive communication protocols (CAN/CAN-FD LIN Automotive Ethernet) and hands-on experience in configuring these protocols on HIL.
Ability to understand Automotive Electrical architectures and configure HIL based on these.
Hands-on experience in using network and ECU calibration tools like Vector CANalyser Vector CANoe and Vector hardware ETAS INCA.
Good knowledge of diagnostic protocols like UDS and ability to analyze and correct Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Hands-on experience in harness development and ECU integration with HIL platform.
Desirable: Plant model development experience in Powertrain Body Chassis domains
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science/Automotive Engineering.
