Job Description

Are you driven by the mechanics of online payments Do you excel at using data to drive commercial success Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Payments Optimization Analyst to join their team in Limassol.

In this critical role you will be the driving force behind their payment processing efficiency directly impacting deposit conversion rates operational excellence and the seamless experience of their partners players.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of their global payments network collaborate with leading Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and contribute to the continued growth of a leading B2B iGaming company.

What youll do:

  • Proactively analyze daily payment approval rates across all methods monitor provider balances and identify trends to maximize transaction success.
  • Strategically utilize their suite of payment systems to optimize deposit success rates and enhance the player journey.
  • Act as a key troubleshooter identifying and investigating payment processing issues and collaborating with technical teams for swift resolution.
  • Drive the growth of their payment ecosystem by researching negotiating contracts with and onboarding new Payment Service Providers.
  • Serve as the go-to payments specialist for internal teams providing clear insights on transaction declines and recommending effective alternative solutions.
  • Perform meticulous settlement calculations and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new payment features and updates ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (MGA UKGC etc.).

What youll bring:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in payments analysis optimization or operations ideally within the iGaming FinTech or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools is a significant advantage.
  • A commercial mindset with experience in researching and negotiating contracts with third-party providers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with full professional fluency in English.
  • A proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Must be based in Cyprus and eligible to work (visa sponsorship is not available).
