Job Summary
Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Professional (Patent Agent or Attorney) with 3 years of experience to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property team in the Los Angeles or San Francisco offices.
Key Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Experience in wireless telecommunications including 5G/6G technologies and WiFi is required. Additional background in power devices analog circuits medical devices software mechanical devices or 3D printing is a plus.
- Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Patent Experience: Demonstrated success in drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. Familiarity with patent databases and search tools is highly desirable.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Intellectual curiosity and excellent academic credentials.
- Strong organizational writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Desire to excel in a large law firm setting with client-facing responsibilities.
- Professional Requirements: Membership in the U.S. Patent Bar is required.
