Job Description

Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Policy Advisor with 7 to 10 years of experience to join its Health Policy team within the Lobbying & Public Policy practice. Candidates must have demonstrated expertise with health care and life sciences policy issues and legislation.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience on Capitol Hill ideally with congressional committees of jurisdiction for health policy.
  • Experience in an executive branch agency of jurisdiction (may substitute for Hill experience).
  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree (JD or Masters) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional academic credentials with superior written and verbal communication skills.

The Lobbying & Public Policy practice is nationally recognized for its work on legislative and policy matters affecting the health care sector. The team includes professionals who have served in high-ranking positions within executive agencies and congressional committees. They advise stakeholders across the health care and life sciences industry including pharmaceutical and biologics companies medical device and technology manufacturers hospitals and health care systems. The group works to develop advocacy strategies build effective alliances and advance client interests before Congress federal agencies advisory bodies and other key policy influencers.
