Job Description

Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Houston office.

Key Experience

  • Handling TROs temporary injunctions trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation.
  • Exposure to wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment litigation.
  • Strong legal writing skills with experience in discovery motion practice and drafting pleadings motions and other court filings.
  • Preferred experience in trial preparation (state and federal courts) and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations.

Candidate Profile

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management and business development potential.
  • Exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced collegial environment.
  • Excellent academic credentials required.
  • To be considered a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Texas Bar.
