Job Description

Looking to grow your legal career with flexibility support and the chance to shape your own practice A well-established Washington law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate has an interest in family law and the motivation to expand into areas such as estate planning business law civil litigation or criminal defense.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle family law cases including divorce custody and support matters

  • Draft pleadings motions briefs and contracts

  • Conduct legal research and case analysis

  • Represent clients in court and settlement negotiations

  • Assist with trial preparation

  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver effective legal solutions

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school

  • Active Washington State Bar membership

  • Family law experience preferred but not required

  • Strong drafting research and communication skills

  • Ability to manage cases independently and work in a team setting
