Asset Management Senior Expert - Power & Water Sector - Qatar

Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Asset Management Expert to join our client in Qatar a leading player in the real estate investment sector. As an Asset Management Expert you will be responsible for maximizing the value of property investments through strategic planning financial analysis and effective management practices.

Your role will involve creating and implementing asset management strategies analyzing market trends and advising on real estate investment opportunities. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to monitor portfolio performance conduct due diligence on acquisitions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the performance of a real estate portfolio.
• Conduct financial analysis including cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
• Monitor and report on investment performance against benchmarks.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market conditions and financial performance.
• Collaborate with vendors property managers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful operation of the assets.
• Identify opportunities for asset enhancement and value creation.
• Oversee lease negotiations renewals and tenant relations.

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in engineering from a reputable university with a preference for the candidates holding an MBA or any professional certificates; ACCA CFA etc.

Minimum Experience:

• 12 years of experience in similar roles in large and preferably multi-national companies of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.
• Solid people management skills.
• Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors emerging trends technologies and key players.
• Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work with key stakeholders senior executives management team and external partners/advisors through collaboration & teamwork.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment.
