Job Description
Our client a business advisory firm is seeking to hire a Compliance Senior to assist with the day to day compliance matters of the firm and its portfolio of local and international clients.
Location: On site - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Senior your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate customer onboarding requests
Monitor existing business relationships on an ongoing basis
Manage the CDD process for both legal entities and natural persons
Supervise a team of compliance executives and review their work
Report to AML consultants and the MLRO
Carry out customer risk assessments
Liaise with AML software providers
Assist with the preparation of BRA and REQ documentation
Handle complex client structures and situations
Liaise with authorities as required
Plan and schedule compliance team workloads
Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed
Respond to client queries regarding required documents
Input key customer data into the central database
Attend AML training as provided by the firm
Collect due diligence documentation follow up on missing information and escalate red flags
Maintain accurate and up to date records of company and beneficial ownership
Requirements:
Finance legal or AML qualification or background
Minimum of two years experience in a similar role
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong problem solving skills
Above average IT skills including solid knowledge of Excel
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input
Curious mindset and willingness to continue learning
