Unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler within 9 months the only start date available is October 20th. RN will primarily work on 1S Observation unit) but will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory Stroke Cardiac etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable. 36 hours/week day shift (7p- 7:30a ) with every other weekend required. Taking call would be a very rare occurrence. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them are NOT options) so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information. Active BLS and ACLS are both required. Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Step-down experience is required (must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be immediately terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient).
