Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Field Engineer with expertise in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) commissioning RAN integration and remote connectivity configuration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with major telecom operators and vendors ensuring high-quality on-site installations system integration troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DAS commissioning testing and optimization to meet carrier and project standards.
- Execute RAN integration for LTE/5G networks ensuring seamless connectivity with operator networks.
- Configure and maintain remote connectivity for DAS monitoring and management.
- Conduct system testing troubleshooting and root cause analysis during deployments.
- Collaborate with RF engineers OEM vendors and carrier teams to achieve successful integration.
- Document site activities test results and prepare commissioning reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety technical and quality standards at all times.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in DAS commissioning and integration.
- Strong knowledge of RAN technologies (LTE/5G) and related integration processes.
- Proficiency with OEM tools and telecom test equipment (e.g. Anritsu TEMS PCTEL).
- Understanding of RF principles VSWR PIM and KPI validation.
- Ability to work independently in the field and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
