Job Summary

Data Engineer

Snoqualmie WA - 5 days onsite per week

Contract

Data Engineer
1. Design build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and SQL to extract transform and load data from various sources into target databases
2. Strong knowledge on time series databases like Influx DB Splunk etc as well as relational DB like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
3. Ability to perform DB schema design and data modelling. Current table schemas have lot of challenges and they want the data engineer to review and fix them.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
5. Monitor data pipeline performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
6. Strong communication and leadership skills.
7. Knowledge of other database systems or big data technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka Spark) is good to have.
8. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is strongly preferred.
