Job Description
Job Summary: Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer
- Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural and detailed specifications for electronic products.
- Design high-level and detailed hardware solutions including cable and assembly wiring power distribution and system grounding.
- Validate designs through reviews testing and analysis to ensure they meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot systems and provide technical resolutions for hardware and integration issues.
- Track and report technical performance measures for compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and supplier management on technical matters and make/buy recommendations.
- Support the full product lifecycle from concept through validation to sustainment.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into future designs.
- Create and refine detailed hardware designs and wiring layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with export regulations (U.S. Person required).
- Participate in required training (OJT or classroom) as a condition of assignment.
Location & Schedule:
- Seattle WA; Full-time onsite; 1st shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM); 12-month contract
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field with 5 years experience Masters with 3 years PhD or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with hardware design tools/utilities.
- ABET accreditation preferred (not required).
- No travel required.
