Job Summary

Role: Security Analyst Intermediate- 8093

Duration of the Contract: 12 Months

Work Location: Clemson SC

Role is 100% remote some travel onsite for meetings (about 2 weeks per year)

Daily Duties / Responsibilities

Vulnerability scanning and coordinating remediation with responsible teams
Deploy and manage EDR
Review Firewall requests
Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities
Assist with incident response and investigation
Assist with GRC assessments
Create alerts in SIEM based off data from various security tools

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

1 year experience supporting web applications
1 year supporting databases such as Oracle MSSQL or MySQL
1 years experience with Nmap tool
1 years experience with Wireshark
2 YEARS experience with vulnerability scanning
Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
Working knowledge of web applications
Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle MSSQL MySQL
Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool Wireshark and vulnerability scanning)
High School

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

Experience performing searching in SIEM
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
Experience with NIST 800-53
