Contribute to projects that support the development of communities

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural/Civil Designer to join our team in Portland. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North Americas most significant projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Create innovative plans designs calculations and cost estimates.
Solve complex engineering challenges with creative solutions.
Develop technical specifications engineering reports and project documents.
Collaborate with professionals and departments to gather project information.
Conduct site inspections and take on various responsibilities as needed.

On top of that you will have:

Hold a masters degree in Structural Engineering or higher and either be a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or be willing to obtain an EIT and subsequently a PE with 0 to 4 years of relevant experience
Participate in professional associations with a commitment to learning
Have good attention to detail along with good judgment and decision-making skills
Possess quality planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to work in time-sensitive settings on multiple deadlines
Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs together with being proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
