Contribute to projects that support the development of communities

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural/Civil Designer to join our team in Portland. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North Americas most significant projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Create innovative plans designs calculations and cost estimates.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges with creative solutions.
  • Develop technical specifications engineering reports and project documents.
  • Collaborate with professionals and departments to gather project information.
  • Conduct site inspections and take on various responsibilities as needed.

On top of that you will have:

  • Hold a masters degree in Structural Engineering or higher and either be a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or be willing to obtain an EIT and subsequently a PE with 0 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Participate in professional associations with a commitment to learning
  • Have good attention to detail along with good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Possess quality planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to work in time-sensitive settings on multiple deadlines
  • Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs together with being proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
