We are seeking Hindi Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Hindi is a critical language for immigration and asylum proceedings and interpreters must deliver services with precision neutrality and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Hindi English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers applicants and stakeholders.
Interpret in immigration legal and administrative contexts with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Maintain neutrality and adhere to USCIS/DHS confidentiality and compliance standards.
Handle both scheduled and urgent OPI requests.
Participate in training compliance refreshers and QA audits.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and English.
2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration legal government or healthcare preferred).
Familiarity with interpreter ethics and standards (NCIHC ATA RID).
Strong verbal communication skills; ability to stay accurate under pressure.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
