About the Opportunity
Were looking for a Dispatch Manager to join our Campbells team in Clayton. Reporting to the Branch Manager youll lead the warehouse dispatch function for outbound goods ensuring safety compliance and exceptional customer service. Youll also work closely with transport providers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries while driving continuous improvement across the team.
In this Role
- Oversee the dispatch handling and distribution of all outbound orders.
- Manage staffing levels and workloads to optimise operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with transport providers and customers.
- Implement processes to minimise shrinkage and improve service levels.
- Lead and supervise loaders pickers and admin teams ensuring performance and development.
- Uphold all safety OHS CoR HACCP and compliance requirements.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain high levels of customer service.
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing better processes.
Youre Likely a Match If
- At least 5 years experience in a similar warehouse or dispatch management role.
- Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Experience leading and developing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proven ability to resolve operational issues while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Warehousing or distribution qualifications (desirable).
