Position Description: Degenkolb is again offering a summer internship program for future engineers! The goal of this program is to give students an understanding of how a structural engineering practice operates to complement academic training and to create a recruitment pipeline. We are fortunate to hire many former interns full-time after they complete their studies. Internships are available in our California offices (Los Angeles Oakland Orange County Sacramento San Diego and San Francisco) as well as Seattle WA. Applicants may indicate interest in multiple locations on a single application.
Ideal Candidate: A high-achievingcurrent Senior or Graduate student (undergraduate GPA 3.40 or above) with a passion for structural engineering. Interest in seismic analysis is strongly preferred. If youre graduating from your masters program in spring 2026 your are not eligible for our internship program and should apply for our Designer role.
Compensation: The pay rate for this position across the various offices ranges between $32 - $38.50 per range is a good faith estimate pursuant to pay transparency laws. Actual pay rates will be based on various factors including company geographic differentials education level and candidate qualifications.
