Job Summary

The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to selectstudents with high potential and provide them with real world work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the companys products processes and procedures. Assignments are designed to assimilateacquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical addition Nexteer Automotive gains theopportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity while providing students exposure to full-time career opportunities.

Job Requisition Introductory Paragraph:

This position will allow the Studentto support the Corporate Engineering and the Engineering Finance staff. Position will include using the Microsoft Office suite and database maintenance & report from reporting responsibilities this role supports the annual global engineering budget this position the Student will have the opportunity to work with upper-level management and enhance their leadership would be asked to complete other miscellaneous tasks as they arise.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Support NETT activities. NETT is Nexteers in-house time-keeping solution
Assist with the creation of new and/or enhance existing reports spreadsheets and metrics
Compile information and generate reports in MS Excel
Assist with Engineerings annual global and departmental budgets
Support Engineering Administrative Staff with internal and external events
Assist supervisor in any administrative work

Requirements:

Candidate must be attending a 2 year college or 4 year university local to Saginaw
Candidate must be pursuing a degree in a Business-related field (Finance Accounting Management etc.)
Candidate must be able to work 32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters
- Up to 40 in the summer
Must have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters
Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
